Rhema Word 2.0

Good morning everyone. My name is Fred Wesley and I have the privilege on doing a blog for Rhema Word 2.0. In being allowed to do this assignment by Liz Hope, the woman pictured, I want give you a little background what Rhea Word 2.0. Valley Kingdom Ministries International Sunday School program is called Rhema Word. In Rhema Word our jobs is to educate the members and visitors about the Word of God. Our job is to reinforce the principles taught at the church but to also take them into the world. In Matthew 10:5-8 he gives the commandment do this. In this year of 2013 one way to do this is with innovative ideas in the ways of educating those who know the Word of God and those who may not know the Word of God.

In helping educate those who may not know the meaning of word rhema. The word rhema means as follows; the Lord's utterance/saying remains forever. In  looking in 1st Peter 1:25 we see an example in that
is a fact. In Rhema Word 2.0 there is a commitment to make sure the word of the Lord remains forever. Rhema also means a word from the Holy Spirit. In looking at scriptural reference we look at how Jesus is leaving rhema through the Holy Spirit in John 14:26. Rhema also means a word that is spoken, when the Holy Spirit delivers a message to the heart as in Romans 10:17. In Matthew 4:4 Jesus reinforces the rhema he is here to give to the world. In Rhema Word 2.0 we attempt to educate those on the words of Jesus and the actions of the Holy Spirit who speaks to us. We want to be able to reinforce not only the ideology of our church but those who also believe in God and convert those who may not be saved.

In giving example of Rhema Word I go to the Word of God to Joshua 1:1-9. In this passage of scripture God sayings to Joshua is for him to go take the land that God promised his people. This the beginning of

how Joshua became the one of the best warriors in the history of the Bible. Joshua took down a wall without lifting a finger. He took out 32 different kingdoms in his lifetime. Gods words live forever and ever. Rhema.

In looking at another example in the Word of God for rhema I go to Matthew 26:59-64. In this passage Jesus is arrested and being questioned about who he really. The high priest then demands and answers.
In verse 64 Jesus gives them the rhema that shows he lives forever. Even in death here on earth Jesus lives and is still sitting on the right side of the Father and watching over us all. Jesus left us this forever.  Rhema.

In the last example in the Word of God for rhema I go to Acts 11:12-19. In chapter 10 Peter has rhema from Jesus to go into a land that was not of the chosen people of God. In the passage above Peter goes to

to Cornelius and gives them the rhema that God has given him. The Holy Spirit comes into this place and all in area are now filled with the Holy Spirit and baptized in the name of God. Holy Spirit came in. Rhema.
In closing Rhema Word 2.0 is using technology such as this blog and a Facebook page to continue to let people know that the Lords word lives for ever, that Jesus words are tried and true and that the Holy Spirit guides our teachings. In our two locations, one in South Holland Illinois and the other in Oak Forest Illinois,  Superintendent Hope has created cutting edge classes like men Courageous for Christ, marriage classes, How to Study the Bible and this summer the second annual Bible Challenge for teens along with other classes. Take an opportunity to either visit the church or look for teachings on our Facebook page our on this blog. I give God all the glory for allowing me to teach this. May God bless you all.
