Only A Click Away.

Good evening and Happy Wednesday. In the age of technology there have been so many advances. I am now taking a class called Organizational Communication. One of the chapters dealt with how most of us live a virtual world outside of the physical world. For instance you can have a organization with many employees either working from home or even across the world. You can have conference chats with someone whom you have never met before. You can Candy Crush saga on your phone, laptop or even tablet. Shopping has been made easier by the changes in technology by the virtual world. We as people of God have access to things that we can not only see but not see as well. Being a believer in God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit there are things that are always Only a Click Away.
As a people of God there are things that come our way without us even asking for them. God sees the everyday struggles we go through. In Chicago violence is out of control. The drugs have become a bane to
our existence in the poorer neighborhoods. And  young girls are still having children at a age where they can barely take care of themselves. God can fix anything but we have to come to him. He is Only a Click Away.
In going to the Word of God to examine how God is Only A Click Away I go to Nehemiah 1:1-5. In asking for help in rebuilding his land for the people of God Nehemiah knew that his request would be met when he
prayed to God. If we are going to stop the violence not only in Chicago we are going to have to go to some of these places and pray and teach those who do not know that God is real that he is Only A Click Away.
In looking in the Word of God to see another example of Only A Click Away Luke 5:5-11. In this passage Jesus went to find those who would help him expand the kingdom of God and save the lost. In Jerusalem
Judea there were plenty of prominent Sadducees and Pharisees who were " learned in the Word of God but Jesus went to find those who were the on the outskirts of town. We are going to have go all over the show the drug dealers that Jesus is Only A Click Away.
In looking in the Word of God for the last example of Only A Click Away Acts 9:17-19. In this passage Ananias has to help Saul receive the Holy Spirit even though Saul had been torturing the church. These girls
are in need of help as they are being preyed upon by young men their age and older by promises of love and/or the love of money. They have to be educated on how the Holy Spirit is Only A Click Away.

In closing as the Internet has changed the world by having things Only A Click Away. One of the best ways is to attend Sunday School and/or Bible Study. These prepare you to be able to pray to God so we can go in the hoods and help stem the violence by showing the God is Only A Click Away.  It can prepare you to be able to show the drug dealers that Jesus is still mediating for us and when we call him he is Only A Click Away. These prepare you to deal with youth issues like teen pregnancy or peer pressure and can have you be an example of how the Holy Spirit is Only A Click Away. May God bless all those who read this blog and I give him all the glory and honor.

The Family That Goes to Sunday School Together

Good morning and Sensational Saturday. In the city of Chicago it is a lovely day. The sun is out and everyone seems to be out and about. As I sit here at my job and getting ready for my assignment tomorrow I was thinking about when I was younger. My Dad and Mom moved from the west side of Chicago to the south side of Chicago. The move was further away from our church home at the time which was 2nd Mt. Vernon M.B. Church. But no matter how far the church was we always had attended Sunday School together. Sunday School is the basis for gaining greater knowledge in the Word of God. It is often said about the family that prays together stays together. But do we know that happen when a family that goes to Sunday School together?

In looking at one of my staples I go to dictionary.com to have the meaning of the word family. The word family means as follows; a social unit consisting of parents and children, a group of persons closely related;

the staff or body of assistants of an official. We as parents who may or may not have children still are God's children. As Christians we are all closely related. And we are all the body of one official and that is Jesus. So let's see what happens when The Family That Goes to Sunday School Together.
In looking at the Word of God of an example of The Family That Goes to Sunday School together I go Deuteronomy 11:18-28. In this passage of scripture the people of God are being told to educate the younger
ones on how far they came and to never forget for there are blessings and curses out there. The Family That Goes to Sunday School Together as a social unit of parents and children are able to recognize blessings and stay away from curses. Sunday School provides a guide.
In looking at another example in the Word of God of The Family That Goes to Sunday School together I go to Hosea 1:10-11. In this passage after Hosea has done what God has told him to he was able to see what
God actually has for the family of God. We as believers are closely related no matter what denomination we are or church we attend. The Family That Goes to Sunday School Together can see what God has for them in spite of. Sunday School provides a glimpse.
In looking at the final example of The Family That Goes to Sunday School Together I go in the Word of God and to 1st Peter 2:4-10. In this passage of scripture Peter writes about some will reject who you are and
try you but we are a chosen generation, his own special people as one body of officials that believe in Jesus. The Family That Goes to Sunday Together knows we are now out of darkness and into his light. Sunday School provides glory.
So today I urge you to not only go to Sunday School in the morning but bring others with you. I go to Valley Kingdom Ministries but urge you to go to Sunday School where ever you can. The Family That Goes to Sunday School Together gets guidance, a glimpse of what is to come and can bask in the glory of God. Palm Sunday is a great time to start. Have a great weekend.

Jesus Cleanses the Temple

This morning I had the opportunity to attend services ant Valley Kingdom Ministries International East location I was finally able to do my assignment and that was attend a class and do a report on a class I was assigned by me to Rhema Word 2.0 by Superintendent Elizabeth Hope and that was the over 50 class. In this class there are a lot of seasoned saints and there is always great teachings through the Holy Spirit that come forth and today was no different. Jesus Cleanses the Temple was brought by Sister Moody and she did an excellent job.
Teacher Moody first began the class with a prayer and then went into a great lesson. on how Jesus cleanses the temple. She first had the class read the scriptures that dealt with the lesson which was Isaiah 56:6-7, Jeremiah 7:9-11 and Mark 11:15-17 and then went into a brief lesson on what was read. She ends the lesson encouraging the class to cleanse the temple of our lives and the temple of God,
In closing on of the perks about doing this class was that I had a chance to partake on a great meal provided by this class. An early dinner was the best thing that I could have had. I want to thank Rhema Word 2.0 Assistant Superintendent Lois Armstrong for the East location for having me. Next week. West Side !!!!!!!

April Fools

Good afternoon everyone and Tremendous Tuesday. This is the beginning of a brand new month and the first month of the 2nd quarter of the year. In America the month of April also brings out a dubious day which is April Fools Day. On this day many people attempt to fool others by telling them something that may be false  as a joke to make others seem to be foolish to believe it. At times celebrities have been reported dead, people have claimed to have won millions and news stories have been fabricated. Some of these April Fools pranks are just plain foolish.  There are many who attend church every Sunday but think that Sunday School is not important and really cannot teach us any things. To those who believe that I want to ask you a question. How long will you be a April Fool.
As much as we enjoy the services there are times when something is said that by the Apostle or Pastor or Evangelist that is delivering the message and we cannot stop them as they are speaking filled with the Holy
Spirit. Did you know that most of the book of Acts coincide with the books that Paul wrote? Did you know that were conflict within the people of God after they had move from Egypt for many years. Do you know that Jeremiah, Daniel and Ezekiel part of the same time frame that the Babylonians took over the land and had the people of God misplaced. If you do know the answers to these questions you probably know the importance of Sunday School. If you do not how long will you think that Sunday School is not important and you will be a April Fool?
In looking in the Word of God to see an example of April Fool I go to Numbers 16. In this chapter you have men who have come out of Egypt with the Moses but now question him and Aaron about authority. Now
not only did Korah, Dathan and Abiram perish but over 14,700 people perished because of their false teaching. We can get up listening to the wrong folk if we do not have the education to know what is true and not true. We must no be April Fools.
In looking at another example of April Fool I go to the Word of God and  Esther the 7th chapter. In this chapter Haman thinks that he there to be honored but instead his plot to get rid of all of the people of God
has turned into his death. When we truly have a greater knowledge of how powerful the Word of God is the Hamans of our lives will have no power over any of us. We can stop being April Fools.
In looking at the last example of April Fool in the Word of God I go to John 9:13-34. In this passage Jesus has just made a blind man see but the Pharisees are angry because it was done period. It could have been
any day of the week and they would have a problem with this being done. The blind man was educated though because he says that Jesus had top be connected to God because a blind person had never been made to see before in life. We need to be like the blind man and not be a April Fool.
In closing education is an important factor for the people of God to be able to advance the kingdom. Society as whole seems to think that God is not important and we know that is not true. You have some who think that Jesus is not real and we know that is not true. And then there are those who cannot even fathom such a thing as the Holy Spirit. A person should be learning something everyday. Being a believer should also be continued learning. I ask anyone who is reading this to attend Rhema Word at Valley Kingdom Ministries International and or Wednesday night Bible study called Digging Deep. Now if you have your own church home I urge you to attend your own Sunday School and Bible Study. The choir has to rehearse each week to get better. The praise dancers have to practice to get better. We as people of faith need to be fed the Word of God and get more educated to keep from becoming April Fools. May God bless those who read this blog and I give him all the glory and honor for this teaching.
