Thank You Jesus

Good morning and Wonderful Wednesday. Today I am just so glad that God looked at me and took me out of some things that could have made my life different. See as a youth I could been dead when I was playing with a gun and by accident it went off not harming me or my friends. As a teen I was progressing through the drug culture so much that I began to take pills that had me hallucinate. I could have been as an adult as I was so tired as I was driving that I also ran into a concrete barrier. But I know it was my relationship with Jesus who took me out of these and more situations and I want to say, Thank You Jesus.
My life has been filled with ups and downs. Like when I was a child how my friend got hit by a car and died. Or how the house down the street from where we lived caught fire and killed a whole
family. I sit back in amazement as that these tragedies could have happened to me or my family but by the by the precious Blood of Jesus. they did not. I take this moment and say Thank You Jesus.
As I go to the Word of God for this teaching of Thank You Jesus I go to Matthew 8:1-3. In these verses there is a man with leprosy that asks to be healed. Lepers at that time were looked at as the
worst of the the worst. There was a time in my life that I was considered the worst of the worst but by the love of Jesus who healed me I am now a teacher of his Word. Thank You Jesus.
As we continue with this teaching of Thank You Jesus I go back to the Word of God and to Mark 7:1-8. The religious leaders of the day attempt to discredit Jesus by using traditions as a way to
question his authority. Jesus lets them know that they are rejecting the commandments of God by keeping things so traditional. Thank You Jesus for breaking down the restrictions of tradition.
As I come to the conclusion of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Thank You Jesus I go to John 19:28-30. In these verses Jesus completes a difficult assignment and that is giving his life to save the
the souls of everyone. He did not just do it for me or my parents or my siblings or my grandmother or my children he did it for each and everyone and for that I exclaim, Thank You Jesus.
In closing I am just Thanking Jesus for bringing me out of some situations that were dicey. I could have been killed, in prison, in a homeless situation, always hungry, have no employment, no parents to help me even at my age, and numerous other things. Thank you for being my mediator. Thank you for saving me from myself. You have been so good to me.I could go on and on and on. I can not speak for you but I am going to scream from the top of my lungs and say Thank You Jesus for just being you. I give God all the glory and credit for this teaching. Great job this month everyone. Please join us next week for some new and exciting things from this blog including a word from the Superintendent of Rhema Word 2.0.

Standing Firm Against Opposition

Good morning and Trusting Tuesday. I was able to FINALLY get back to a Rhema word 2.0 class and I was so excited that I was able to get to this one. It covered one of my favorite chapters and men in the Bible, Acts the 7th Chapter and Stephen, who was a Martyr. The teaching was titled, Standing Firm Against Opposition
and was taught brilliantly by Ms, Catharine Ingram. Ms. Ingram gave many examples of how we as members of the Body of Christ should be Standing Firm Against Opposition, She explained that bravery is not the absence of fear, but bravery is being scared and still doing the right thing, That was a great point. In the preceding clip she explains what Stephen was doing when he was speaking to the leaders of the church back then,
The class was attentive and engaged, Teacher Ingram also had the class read the scriptures and they did. One of the things that Teacher Ingram did was have the students look at someone in the Old and the New Testament that also Stood Firm Against Opposition. Some of the answers ranged from Job to Daniel and even to Dr. Martin Luther King as Teacher Ingram let us know the we are all still in
the New Testament. I even learned something that I had always overlooked. As I said that this is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible but never knew that in verse 54 that the people started biting Stephen with their teeth. Great job Teacher Ingram. We ask that God pour back in what she poured out on Sunday. And if you have a chance please go to Rhema Word 2.0.

Character and What a Teacher Should Know ( By Minister Kim Baker)

Good morning and Wonderful Wednesday. I was fortunate to attend a class last night taught by Minister Kim Baker. And her teaching on Character and What a Teacher Should Know was on point and something we should all be practicing. She began with the teaching with meditation scriptures
of Romans 5:3-5. She began by asking students what does this scripture means to them. One student replied that "we are not thanking for the troubles but we are thanking God and glorifying him, in the troubles". "Each and everyone is has had experiences that produce the strength for them to move forward", said Minister Baker.
Minister Baker then defined the word character. When you persevere it will show your character. Future teachers have to know that once they have accepted their calling, the enemy is not done with

them but their families, their friends and each person they come in contact are going to be targeted to keep them from achieving what God has called them to do. Integrity plays a big part as well. Minister Baker used Proverbs 22:1 to show students the importance of Integrity.
Minister Baker closed how teachers should be FAT. A teacher of the Word of God should be FAITHFUL to God, always AVAILABLE to teach, and be TEACHABLE themselves. Not only was this a lesson to the future teachers but to those teachers such as myself. Great job Minister Baker on your teaching on Character and What a Teacher Should Know. Rhema Word 2.0 gives a big thanks to Minister Baker.

If You Happy and You Know It (Give God Praise).

Good afternoon and Thankful Thursday. One of the things about teaching the Word of God is that when you want to teach some things, he will not allow you to release it until it is time. This title of this teaching has been the vault for a while with no words that were given to me by God to teach on. It was not until this morning when I woke up with a massive headache, attempted to do some school work on my computer only to find all of the my files were in the recycle bin and I could not get them out, and then looking for an alternative teaching from someone else that it was revealed to me that no matter what the enemy is trying to do, I am still on blessed and highly favored. If You Happy and You Know It. (Give God Praise)
I could have easily folded in and gave in to the wiles of the enemies. There was a classmate that did a peer review of my paper who did over 75 revisions when it was not necessary. I did not get to eat
before I came to work, and the amount of people who read my personal blog, Brand New Week, Brand New Attitude is falling off. But I am not angry for I know my God is by my side. If You Happy and You Know It. (Give God Praise).
In going to the Word of God for this teaching of If You Happy and You Know It and to Joel 2:23-27. In these verses God tells Joel to tell that people to begin to rejoice already for God is getting ready to
restore and be in the midst of all that we do. So there is no need to fret over that health issue or monetary problem God is going to fix that If You Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands.
In continuing this teaching of If You Happy and You Know It I go back to the Word of God and to Zechariah 10:6-10. In this verse God tells Zechariah to tell the people to be glad and he is going to
have all who are connected to him increase and remember how great he is. God is going to place us above all the things that enemy is trying to do. If You Happy and You Know It Stomp Your Feet.
In looking in the Word of God for this teaching of If You Are Happy and You Know It I go to Philippians 4:2-4. In this teaching we see where Paul is urging the people to be of the same mind and
help all those who are laboring with and rejoice in the Lord. We as the Body of Christ must continue to support each other and rejoice that God is the head of our lives. If You Happy and You Know Say Amen.
In closing I did not have the best day that I could have possibly have had but it was to see what God can do. My headache is gone. I was finally able to get my files from the recycle bin, I will have a teaching for next week done by tomorrow, I can look at the revisions my classmate did as a great help, I do not have to cook when I go home as I can eat what I did not this morning and if Brand New Week, Brand New Attitude reaches one person, I am doing the work of the Lord and he is happy with me. If You Happy and You Know It (Give God Praise).

We've Come This Far By Faith

Good afternoon and Wonderful Wednesday. As we enter the a new month there are still some things that seem to want to bring our spirits down. For some there is the upcoming school year and the uncertainty of what happens after graduation. There are others who might be looking at their jobs beginning to downsize and/or relocate. And there are others who face the things such as eviction or foreclosure. But let me remind you that God will be there in the times we know as being tough. He wants me to remind all that We've  Come This Far By Faith.
It seems we all get caught up in what is not being done and forget about what has been done. Some of us have come from drug and alcohol addiction. There are others who were on the verge of having
lost their children to gangs God stepped in. And there are some who received a job offer and/or promotion without even applying for it. That is what God does for those who know and love him. We've Come This Far By Faith.
As we come into the Word of God for this teaching of We've Come This Far By Faith I go to Luke 7:47-450. In these verses Jesus is in the house of devout Pharisee having dinner when a woman came
and started crying enough tears that she was able to clean his feet. Now the women did not even ask anything of Jesus but had enough faith to come in and he in turned forgave of her all her sins. For those seniors that are going to be graduating and getting nervous place your faith in Jesus as You Have Come This Far By Faith.
As we continue with this teaching of We've Come This Far By Faith I go to the Word of God and Acts 3:11-16. In these verses Peter and John explains to the non believers that if you just place faith
in the power of the name of Jesus anything is possible. There are some of you who may be on the verge of job loss but we have to have the faith that the name of Jesus will fix things. We've Come This Far By Faith.
As we come to the conclusion of this teaching of We've Come This Far By Faith I go to Galatians 2:11-16. In these verses Paul speaks of how Peter and Barnabas changed when they got around
leadership and forgot that man can not justify any of your works but only your faith in Jesus can justify you. So while you think that this eviction or foreclosure will surely be the end of you, place your faith and Jesus and watch how he works it out. We've Come This Far By Faith.
In conclusion I am asking you to continue to place your faith in God. In Hebrews the 11th chapter we see that many people in the Word of God depended on faith without EVER receiving the ultimate promises of God. You have to see how far you have come. From being poor. From being a emotional wreck. From being lonely. From your ideas not even being considered. From being the laughingstock. If you look back at a lot of things you will see that We've Come This Far By Faith. Please remember that. And when you have a chance please visit a Sunday School of your choice or come to Valley Kingdom Ministries International Rhema Word 2.0 program before or after services. Have a great week all. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching. Have a great week all.
