April Fools

Good afternoon everyone and Tremendous Tuesday. This is the beginning of a brand new month and the first month of the 2nd quarter of the year. In America the month of April also brings out a dubious day which is April Fools Day. On this day many people attempt to fool others by telling them something that may be false  as a joke to make others seem to be foolish to believe it. At times celebrities have been reported dead, people have claimed to have won millions and news stories have been fabricated. Some of these April Fools pranks are just plain foolish.  There are many who attend church every Sunday but think that Sunday School is not important and really cannot teach us any things. To those who believe that I want to ask you a question. How long will you be a April Fool.
As much as we enjoy the services there are times when something is said that by the Apostle or Pastor or Evangelist that is delivering the message and we cannot stop them as they are speaking filled with the Holy
Spirit. Did you know that most of the book of Acts coincide with the books that Paul wrote? Did you know that were conflict within the people of God after they had move from Egypt for many years. Do you know that Jeremiah, Daniel and Ezekiel part of the same time frame that the Babylonians took over the land and had the people of God misplaced. If you do know the answers to these questions you probably know the importance of Sunday School. If you do not how long will you think that Sunday School is not important and you will be a April Fool?
In looking in the Word of God to see an example of April Fool I go to Numbers 16. In this chapter you have men who have come out of Egypt with the Moses but now question him and Aaron about authority. Now
not only did Korah, Dathan and Abiram perish but over 14,700 people perished because of their false teaching. We can get up listening to the wrong folk if we do not have the education to know what is true and not true. We must no be April Fools.
In looking at another example of April Fool I go to the Word of God and  Esther the 7th chapter. In this chapter Haman thinks that he there to be honored but instead his plot to get rid of all of the people of God
has turned into his death. When we truly have a greater knowledge of how powerful the Word of God is the Hamans of our lives will have no power over any of us. We can stop being April Fools.
In looking at the last example of April Fool in the Word of God I go to John 9:13-34. In this passage Jesus has just made a blind man see but the Pharisees are angry because it was done period. It could have been
any day of the week and they would have a problem with this being done. The blind man was educated though because he says that Jesus had top be connected to God because a blind person had never been made to see before in life. We need to be like the blind man and not be a April Fool.
In closing education is an important factor for the people of God to be able to advance the kingdom. Society as whole seems to think that God is not important and we know that is not true. You have some who think that Jesus is not real and we know that is not true. And then there are those who cannot even fathom such a thing as the Holy Spirit. A person should be learning something everyday. Being a believer should also be continued learning. I ask anyone who is reading this to attend Rhema Word at Valley Kingdom Ministries International and or Wednesday night Bible study called Digging Deep. Now if you have your own church home I urge you to attend your own Sunday School and Bible Study. The choir has to rehearse each week to get better. The praise dancers have to practice to get better. We as people of faith need to be fed the Word of God and get more educated to keep from becoming April Fools. May God bless those who read this blog and I give him all the glory and honor for this teaching.
