The Goodness of God

Good afternoon and Wonderful Wednesday. As some of you know I am currently enrolled in online classes to obtain my college degree. Between working two jobs and trying to finish my second book as well as blogging at times it could be a bit much. This semester was especially challenging because both my courses were 10 week classes instead of one being 5 and the other being 10 as I had been used to. So there was an apprehension on my part as to if I would be able to handle it. And it is a possibility that I would not have if not for the Goodness of God.
In looking up the word goodness I go to my source of definitions and that is dictionary.com. The word goodness means as follows; excellence of quality, the best part of anything, and kindness or generosity. See
I went through some things this semester but God showed me his excellence of quality. I wanted to give up but God is the best part of anything. And when things looked as low as they could get he showed his kindness or generosity.
In looking at the first example in the Word of God of the Goodness of God I go to Job 36:1-23. In this passage Elihu tells all of the Goodness of God even as God has seemed to turn his back on Job. This
semester I wrote a 8 page paper along with two pages of references for one of my courses. The instructor gave me a grade of 40% out of 100%. I was crushed and wanted to withdraw but what man may not like God considers it excellence of quality. I pushed forward because of the Goodness of God.
In looking at the second example in the Word of God of the Goodness of God I go to Psalms 65. In this Psalm the writer speaks of how God provides salvation for those in need. While in transit to my other job I
lost the book to my other course and the book cost over 70.00 dollars and I could not use my book voucher. But God showed me the best part of anything as I did the best I could without the book. The Goodness of God.
In the last example of this teaching of the Goodness of God I go to Proverbs 4:1-2. In these verses the writer speaks of instructions received from the Father, God. There was also the pressure of the hours at work I
and how I would be able to keep up with the added pressures of the course that both were now ten weeks. But God was there to provide kindness and generosity in allowing to me to finish the semester. The Goodness of God.

In closing I had been on the Dean's list since going back to school and that was important to me. The lowest final grade I had was a C and that was another time when I had lost a book. But the Goodness of God allowed me to obtain a 91.01% in a class where I received a grade on 40% on one and 70% on another. The Goodness of God allowed me to receive a final grade of 95.23% even though I had lost the book. The Goodness of God allowed me to stay on the Dean's list in spite of working two jobs and being extremely tired. The Goodness of God has done so much for us all and can for those who have yet to know God. We can be that example and advance the kingdom of God by telling others of his goodness. Have a great week all.
