Everything Must Go

Good afternoon and Happy Friday. Last year I was walking in the downtown area of Chicago and I saw a one the major retail stores in the city, Sears, getting ready to close the store in the downtown area. They were having a big sale. There was merchandise marked down as much as 75%. There was sign stating that the store was closing soon, And there was a sign that said Everything Must Go. As members of the Body of Christ we need to make some changes in the way we do things to get closer to God, to receive our blessings, and to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. If things are not of God they should not be part of our lives. Everything Must Go.
As we begin this teaching I want to define the keyword in this teaching and that is everything. I go to my source of definitions which is dictionary.com. Everything means as follows; particular of an
aggregate or total or all. So each day we must be mindful of the things that are not pleasing to God, that stops us from receiving our blessings and that will keep us from inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven. Everything Must Go.
In beginning this teaching of Everything Must Go I to to 1st Samuel 16:1-3. In these verses God has heard Samuel ask that Saul be removed from being king and has told him to go see Jesse. Samuel
initially is hesitant until God provides to him the directions on how he should do this. God is telling us that there are things we should be doing but we are hesitant. We cannot be hesitant and get closer to God. Everything Must Go.
As we continue in the Word of for this teaching of Everything Must Go I go to 1st Chronicles 17:1-14. David had wanted to build God a house for him to dwell in and God saw his faith and not only
blessed him all of his days, but his descendants as well. We as the Body of Christ at times want to have blessings but we must also listen to God. Not listening  will not work. Everything Must Go.

As we come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Everything Must Go I go to 1st Chronicles 21:1-7. In this passage David is tempted by Satan and falls into temptation and makes
God angry. As members of the Body of Christ we cannot fall into the trickery and traps of Satan. We have to be aware of this for it may cost us entry into the Kingdom of Heave. Everything Must Go.
In conclusion we must be particular in the aggregate, total and all of what we do. We cannot be hesitant when God tells us to do something. We have to listen to him at all times. We must resist the temptations of the enemy. We need to clear our lives of doubts, fears, lack of trust, negativity, pride, vanity, scheming, getting over, being phony, lack of spreading the gospel, refusing to enter into places that need the teachings of the gospel, continuing in restrictions of religion, failing to be active in media, failing to walk out on faith and begin that television show or business. God wants us to prosper. Anything that is counter active of that should not be in our lives. Everything Must Go. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching.
