Standing Firm Against Opposition

Good morning and Trusting Tuesday. I was able to FINALLY get back to a Rhema word 2.0 class and I was so excited that I was able to get to this one. It covered one of my favorite chapters and men in the Bible, Acts the 7th Chapter and Stephen, who was a Martyr. The teaching was titled, Standing Firm Against Opposition
and was taught brilliantly by Ms, Catharine Ingram. Ms. Ingram gave many examples of how we as members of the Body of Christ should be Standing Firm Against Opposition, She explained that bravery is not the absence of fear, but bravery is being scared and still doing the right thing, That was a great point. In the preceding clip she explains what Stephen was doing when he was speaking to the leaders of the church back then,
The class was attentive and engaged, Teacher Ingram also had the class read the scriptures and they did. One of the things that Teacher Ingram did was have the students look at someone in the Old and the New Testament that also Stood Firm Against Opposition. Some of the answers ranged from Job to Daniel and even to Dr. Martin Luther King as Teacher Ingram let us know the we are all still in
the New Testament. I even learned something that I had always overlooked. As I said that this is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible but never knew that in verse 54 that the people started biting Stephen with their teeth. Great job Teacher Ingram. We ask that God pour back in what she poured out on Sunday. And if you have a chance please go to Rhema Word 2.0.
