Rhema Word 2.0- Expand Your Understanding

 Good morning and Happy Monday. My name is Fred Wesley and I am a contributor to the Facebook page of Rhema Word 2.0. As I write this posting I am in the knowledge that we as people of faith need all the education we can get. Yes the Word of God being delivered by your leader of your religious organization or whomever is anointed to give the Word that day is important. But the foundation of any thing that deals with the Word of God is being educated on what the Word or passage of scripture means to you. We all can use a bit more understanding to be able to go into the world rather personally or through social media. What Rhema Word 2.0 is able to do is expand your understanding.

In looking at the definition of of the two words that are the main point of this teaching I go to Dictionary.com and get the meanings. The first word is expand and it means as follows; to increase in extent, in size and in

volume. And the word understanding means as follows; knowledge of a particular thing, skill in dealing with, and familiarity with handling something. In the next three paragraphs I will give three examples in the Word of expanding your understanding.

In looking at the Word of God the first example of Expanding Your Understanding came in Exodus 20:1-17 as the people of God received the Ten Commandments after Moses has received them from God. Moses

had to be the one to expand the understanding of the people of God as they had come into a land unfamiliar to them. We cannot reach the youth or the seniors or the unbelievers to  increase in the extent the knowledge of a particular thing unless Expand Your Understanding.

In looking at the second example of Expanding your Understanding I go the Word of God and to Ezra 7:6-10 and we see after the temple has been rebuilt that they had to send a teacher who was to increase in size

 the skills of the traditions and the way to worship. The people were able to come to a land that they only heard about from their ancestors. But they had a teacher there to Expand there Understanding.


In the last example of Expanding Your Understanding I go the Word of God and Matthew 10:16-26 the Rabboni or the Master Teacher Jesus teaches that it is not going to be easy to increase in volume the

familiarity of handling something. But he tells us will speak for us through the Holy Spirit. We all have a duty a people of faith to go out and not only show the world our works but Expand there Understanding.

So as I place this mirror here and ask are you dedicated to change the areas of arts and entertainment, business, government, religion. family, social media and educated by taking advantage of Bible Study and Sunday School. If we want to Expand the Understanding of the world we need to expand our own understanding. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching.
