Good afternoon and Happy Friday. As we come into the month of March many of us are way off track on the dreams and goals that we have set. We have not gotten that job that we knew we should have and even worse food stamps have been cut and extensions for unemployment have been cut. In the streets of Chicago there is still a rise in violent crime and the summer has not even arrived but you almost wish it stays cold just so there will not be any murders. And then there is still the divisions of religions as no one seems to come to a consensus that their teachings can be combined to make the kingdom of God so much better and then you have churches closing and being threatened to have their tax-exempt status taken away. It is almost enough to make you just give up. But giving up is what the enemy wants us to do so we can be beholden to him. I refuse to and I Will Not Bow Down ( Not An Option ).
As I get into this teaching I want to explain the meaning of the word bow. The word bow means as follow; to bend a knee, or body or incline the head in reverence, submission or recognition. See the enemy is playing with our finances so much that he thinks that we will forgot about God and bend a knee in reverence to him by gambling to help us get over the hump. The enemy wants us to bend our bodies in submission as the crime rates go higher and be scared. The enemy wants us to incline our heads in recognition as he continues to confuse us all on about being religious. We as a believers of God have to come to take a stand. We Will Not Bow Down. ( Not An Option ).
As I go into the Word of God I first go to Genesis 39:7-20. In this passage Joseph who had already had gone through so much by dreaming about being great and having his dreamed derailed by his brothers ( Genesis 37th chapter ). So now Joseph is doing better but still a slave and now this lady keeps bugging him and she is married. But Joseph did not give in or bow down to her. She was aligned with the enemy and we see that verses in 21-23 God rewards him for not giving reverence to doing whatever he could to get ahead. We Will Not Bow Down ( Not An Option ).
I once again go to the Word of God and to Esther 3:1-7. In this passage we meet Haman who King Ahasuerus has promoted to the head man in charge. Where ever Haman sets foot the people bowed down to acknowledge his presence. But Mordeci refused to honor Haman by bowing. Haman just like Satan had bigger plans than being concerned with one man, he wants to destroy everyone as witnessed in verses 8-14. But in the 6th and 7th Chapters of Esther there was never any need for Mordeci to submit to the enemy because God will place things in the proper order. We Will Not Bow Down ( Not An Option ).
As I go into the Word Of God for the my last example I go Matthew 4:8-11. In this passage of scripture them enemy is tempting Jesus after he has been fasting and praying for 40 days and nights ( verses 1 & 2 ). After continually trying to trick Jesus ( verses 3-7 ) he then offers Jesus the chance to bow down to him which Jesus refuses. The enemy wants religion to take priority over the Word of God and we cannot incline our heads in recognition of this. We Will Not Bow Down ( Not An Option ).
In conclusion there is going to so many challenges that are going to come your way as you walk with God. There are going to be days that you feel the world is against you but in Deuteronomy 28:9-10 it gives us direction so that we never have to bow in reverence to no one but God. In 2nd Chronicles 7:14 gives a plan on how to get closer to God so that we never have to bend our bodies in submission to no one but God. And in 1st Corinthians 4:12-13 even though our work is tedious and hard at times God is there always so we never have incline our head in recognition to no one but God. We Will Not Bow Down to you Satan. Like Never. Because it is Not An Option. May God bless those who read this teaching and I give God all the glory and honor for all the words I have written here. I once again thank the Rhema Word 2.0 Sunday School ministry of Valley Kingdom Ministries International for allowing to teach via social media. I want to thank Teacher Matti for her help in affirming this teaching and my dear friend Chef Stroud for her help with the title. Please look forward to see other teachings here by members of Rhema Word 2.0 very soon. May God bless you all. A special thanks to Superintendent Hope for allowing this to happen.
