While Moving Forward ( Who Are You Leaving Behind )

Good morning to each and everyone. As I started this day I remembered something that happened a while ago but it came to my memory today. I live in Chicago and there is something called the Taste of Chicago. When it first started off it was real popular and the crowds were large. The largest crowds came on the days of the firework shows and you had thousands of people who came to see the fireworks. So when my children were younger I took them along with their Mother. We had a great time that day eating food, listening to the music and eventually seeing the fireworks. At the end of the fireworks as the crowds begin to leave I implored my children and their Mother to all hold hands as we left but the crowd got larger and we got separated. Many of us who are believers of God are in better places but While We are Moving Forward Who We Leaving Behind ?
Many of us are moving so fast that we are getting far ahead of others and leaving them far behind. The age of technology has placed almost a cultural divide between the youth and others not as tech savvy as they are. As our seniors get older we tend to not want to be bothered with them or hear their stories. And as  we gain better and better positions we tend to leave behind God as we move forward. I am wondering While Moving Forward Who Are You Leaving Behind.
In looking in the Word of God I see one example of While Moving Forward Who Are You Leaving Behind in Genesis 37:18-24. In this passage Joseph's brothers have placed him in a pit and moved forward by even eating a meal ( verse 25 ) while he has been left behind. There are many of us including myself who continually leave the youth behind by not listening to them and creating ways that would keep their interest in God. Our blessings our flowing but they have no way to even tap into theirs because of lack of knowledge. While Moving Forward Who Are You Leaving Behind.
In looking again in the Word of God another example of While Moving Forward Who Are You Leaving Behind I go 1st Kings 11:1-13. In this passage as Solomon got older there were women who convinced him to turn away from God. Most of our seniors are in positions where they have people taking advantage of them or we do not seek them for the knowledge that they have. We are going so fast that the past that could help our present and our future is going away. While You Are Moving Forward Who Are You Leaving Behind.

In looking at the final example of While Moving Forward Who Are We Leaving Behind I go in the Word of God and to Acts 15:36-41. In this passage two great men of God, Paul and Barnabas who were doing great work expanding the kingdom of God together split from each other over something that was petty. Many churches or religious organizations are not communing with each other over something very small. They are doing some great things apart but if the got together how much greater could the kingdom of God be. While Moving Forward Who Are You :Leaving Behind.
As I come to the conclusion of this blog I eventually found my two sons and their Mother but along the way while I was getting better jobs and making more money I eventually lost my sons again and left them behind. As I am going to school, working three jobs, blogging and writing a book I do not call my Grandmother on a weekly or even monthly basis. As I am working so so much I am so tired that I cannot even attend church or even live stream. This a a dawn of a new day. Not only am I am going to be more involved with what my sons are doing but I am going to continue to try to get involved with youth agendas such as the mentorship program that I helped grow at the place I work at. Not only am I going to contact my Grandmother more but see if there a way I can get others involved in doing things to help seniors. And I am going to make a more urgent attempt to be a church and do my assignment to keep this blog viable and informative. No one can be left behind no matter how forward you are moving. May God bless all those who read this blog and I give him ALL the honor and glory for this teaching. Please look forward to another teaching later this week by the Children's Pastor of Valley Kingdom Ministries International Pastor Sabrina Williams called Get Up.
