I Know That Voice

Good morning and Thankful Thursday. I want to begin this teaching by saying that when it comes to sight, I cannot see that well. Rather than correct it as a child and wear the glasses that was bought for me ( did I really lose those numerous pairs of glasses, hmmm.) I chose to be cool and rather not see. So when I see a person whom I have not seen in  long time I may not recognize with their looks or even mannerisms. But once they start talking I begin to recognize him or her. Although my sight might not be good I have excellent hearing and recognize voices. That why when Jesus speaks to me, I Know That Voice.

In seeing that voice is the key word in this teaching I want to go to dictionary.com to define it. The word voice means as follows; a range of sound distinctive to one person. See although those in the

world and those we know may not hear his voice, when you are connected to Jesus the sound of his voice is distinctive to you. This teaching Biblical base will come from John 10:27-32. I Know That Voice

In beginning this teaching of I Know  in the Word of God I start in John 10:27-29. In this passage Jesus is speaking to crowd gathered at the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem. He tells us here that we

who are connected him not only know his voice but will never be snatched away from him. There may be some of you that have turned away from Jesus but he still wants to talk to you. I Know That Voice.

In continuing this teaching of I Know That Voice I go to John 10:30. In this verse Jesus tells the crowd exactly who he is. See there are going to times that we have to show the world how we are

able to do things like heal, forgive others when they do us wrong, drag our name through the mud. It is because we know who we are and that Jesus speaks to us. I Know That Voice.

In concluding in the Biblical portion of this teaching I go to John 10:31-32. In this verse Jesus has riled up the establishment who does not want to see change. Even though the works that he did were

great he still had non believers. Although you may be involved in a ministry that does great works everyone will not be please and attempt to shut it down or tear it down verbally. Don't give up.
You Know That Voice.

In conclusion there are things that you have been told to do by Jesus but are being stopped from doing by those who do not know his voice. That arts and entertainment project that is for you or that new social media site that he said that was yours can be done. Those businesses, education aspirations and things to break the chains off of religion constrictions are things Jesus has told some of you. And to see that governments do not try to restrict the gospel and that he wants families to become stronger is what Jesus has told others. I cannot say what Jesus has told you but I know what he has told to do and one of them is to teach his Word to world. I Know That Voice. I give God all the honor and glory for this teaching.
