Coming Out of the Closet

Good morning and Happy Friday. I am amazed at the things that I am seeing today. There is change almost everywhere. It used to be a time when marijuana use was limited to confines of ones home but now that has changed. It used to be time when mixed marriages where frowned upon but that too has changed. Growing up the U.S.S.R. was made up of many countries but now that has changed. But one of the things that I have not see a drastic change in the way that Christians interact with those in the world. It is as if we are scared to be known a members of the Body of Christ and hide that from others. It is time to change all that. It is time for the people of faith to Come Out of The Closet.
We as the people of faith have a tendency to not cause any waves to the status quo of the world while the world is changing. You have the gay community coming out strong for their causes. You have
U.S government coming out to college campuses in response to sexual assaults. And you people in China who are coming out and protesting how the government is doing things. We as members of the Body of Christ need also need to stand up for our beliefs and affect all of the areas the world is controlling. We the people of God need to be Coming Out Of The Closet.
In going to the Word of God for this teaching of Coming Out Of The Closet I go to Genesis 1st Samuel 13:5-7. In this passage the Philistines are getting ready to battle the people of God but instead
of knowing that God will deliver them, the people get scared and tremble. We as the Body of Christ have a calling to be in arts and entertainment, own our businesses and have roles in government but we are to scared to let the world not we are people of faith as they might not accept us. Come Out of the Closet.
In continuing in the Word of God for this teaching of Coming Out of the Closet I go to Isaiah 53:1_4. In these verses the writer talks of how the Messiah will be looked upon when he makes his presence.
The people did not want nothing to do with him and looked at him as he was sick. We as the Body of Christ have a calling to change how the education system leaves out Christ and to strengthen the structures of family. Come Out of the Closet.
As we come to the end of the Biblical portion of this teaching of Coming Out of the Closet I  go to Galatians 2:11-13. In these verses Paul writes about how Peter and even Barnabus hid who they were
when the religious leaders came to town. We as a people of God have a calling to change some of the practices of religion that are not of God and attempts to restrict us all. We also can affect how the world sees us and get our message out  via media. Come Out of the Closet.
In closing I implore you as members of the Body of Christ to Come Out of the Closets with your gifts to advance the Kingdom of God. Start the process of beginning your television show, open that business that God has placed on your heart, run for government office to change some of these restrictive laws, become involved in the meetings of the school board for the are a taxing body, let us have workshops to strengthen the family structure, let's support those who have churches without walls and let us begin to become involved in how the media perceives us. In short let the Body of Christ be what God made us to be, leaders of change. Come Out of the Closet. I give God all the glory and honor for this teaching.
