Tha Block Is Hot

Good morning and Wonderful Wednesday. As we come into the 91st day of the Year 2015 I want to share a story with you guys. Although I did not grow up in the worst of areas I did grow up in a urban area of Chicago. In most urban areas, predominantly Black was where I grew up there is crime. From the prostitutes walking up and down Michigan Avenue ( 103rd to 107th, not the Gold Coast ) to the men and women running game on people to the people selling drugs. Everything was grits and gravy ( going well ) until something bad happened in the hood. That is when law enforcement cracked down and all illegal business was shut down. The people in the hood would Tha Block Is Hot. We the men and women of God need to step out on faith and make the places where you live say Tha Block Is Hot.
See the places where we live at are being patrolled by the element of crime. No one says much of nothing as the men and women sell anything from drugs to their bodies in our hoods. There are
young boys and girls who look at the people getting food stamps or government assistance as if this is the only to make it. There is a limited presence of the people of God. We have to change that and make Tha Block Hot.
As we begin this teaching of Tha Block is Hot we begin in Matthew the 23rd Chapter. In this chapter Jesus makes Tha Block Hot by calling out the Pharisees, the scribes and whoever else is preventing
others from entering into the kingdom of God. We as men and women of God are still too comfortable into letting the world dictate to us how things should be going. That has got to change. We have to call them out and make Tha Block Hot.
In looking at another example from the Word of God of this teaching of Tha Block is Hot I go to Luke 22:66-71. In these verses Jesus is before the religious leaders who are angry at him for stirring
up the people by claiming to be the Messiah. We the members of the Body of Christ have to break away from some of the religious traditions that are holding us back and take the Word of God to the people. We have to make Tha Block Hot.
In looking at the Word of God for the last example of Tha Block is Hot we go to the 20th Chapter of John. In this chapter Jesus has left the tomb and risen to fulfill his true purpose, and that is to be a
a sacrifice for all sin. We as men and women of God have to sacrifice our time and make a effort to let others know that they can free of sin and inherit things here on earth as well as heaven. We can do this by making Tha Block Hot.
In closing we the men of women of God can make Tha Block Hot by becoming more involved in our neighborhood. We can make Tha Block Hot by showing the youth that being part of the Kingdom of God is not boring but fun. We can make Tha Block Hot by not only offering prayer but attending block parties, talking to those street pharmacist in their language and by becoming example for others. We can make Tha Block Hot by leaving them titles at church remembering who and what you were before you got saved. With God anything is possible. We can make Tha Block Hot. I give God all the glory and honor and ask him to bless everyone. Have a great Resurrection Weekend.
